Who is eligible to participate?

All Joseph Richard Group staff, as well as invited friends and family are eligible to participate in this JRG Covenant House Sleep Out.


What is expected of participants?

Participants are expected to be engaged in the event and actively fundraise for this cause.


How much are participants expected to raise?

While there is no minimum dollar amount expected to be raised, each participant should secure at least one donation.


What will happen on the night of the event?

What should participants bring?

A sleeping bag, warm jacket, warm clothes and a positive attitude!


How can people donate?

The best way to make donations is online.

Each participant will have their own online fundraising page where they can direct their supporters to make a donation. The online system makes collecting donations easy, receipting instantaneous, goal tracking automatic, and minimizes administration costs for Covenant House.

Cheques should be made payable to Covenant House Vancouver and include the name of the Sleep Out participant.


How will people who donate get their tax receipts?

Tax receipts for online gifts will automatically and instantly be sent to the donor by email. Cash and cheque donations will be receipted and mailed to the donor within 4 weeks of the gift being received by Covenant House Vancouver.
