As fall has now arrived, my inclination to spend time outside in the evenings is fast waining. It has been replaced with a yearning to curl up in the warmth, comfort and safety of my living room couch.

There are hundreds of youth in our city who (for many reasons that are heartbreaking to hear of) don't even have a bed to sleep in, let alone a comfy couch. As the nights get longer, darker, and colder, I think more about how blessed I am to have the lifestyle I so easily take for granted.

Thursday November 20 I will again be sleeping out in a back alley of downtown Vancouver in support of the youth who have no safe home to return to - a small sacrifice for a big cause.

Donations to this sleepout make a huge difference towards helping challenged youth have the power and freedom to invent a new life for themselves. And trust me – the incredible staff at Covenant House will make sure your donations are well utilized.

Please support me by giving generously.

Thank you so very much - your donation is deeply appreciated.

Warmly,

Vicki
