On November 19, I will be Sleeping Out in support of Covenant House Vancouver.

Together with other leaders from the Lower Mainland, I will sleep outside for one night in solidarity with those youth who continue to face cold, wet, lonely nights sleeping on sidewalks, in doorways and alleys across the region.

By participating I am extending a hand to youth in need, and lending my voice to raise awareness of Covenant House's Continuum of Care. For a tenth time, I will leverage my short term discomfort into financial support for Covenant House. 

Let's join together to keep their doors open for youth seeking shelter, support, care, and safety. Everyone deserves access to safe, warm and supportive communities and mental health services. These conditions offer opportunity to chart a life path with structured support, adequate sleep, and freedom of the anxiety of worrying about basic needs.
