I work near a shelter and so almost every day on my way to work I see the same people struggling. For years they stay stuck in the same situation and it really upsets me. One man in particular, who has always been in a wheelchair the times I’ve seen him, used to be by himself begging for money. I even saw a parent yell at the man one day. Rain or shine he would be in the same complex sitting by himself, never bothering a soul and always offering a smile. I wouldn't know where to begin to understand what life is like for him on a daily basis; even less if I were alone. 

To imagine that there are kids out there that don't have a home to go to, or a place that they can be safe really upsets me and I hope to do everything in my capacity to help support youth facing homelessness, so that they can have a better opportunity to a bright future.
