Dear McTavish Team

As the holiday season approaches, we are excited to once again support the great work at Covenant House which provides support and care for vulnerable youth that are in need or facing homelessness right here in our region. The goal is to raise funds to support their new “Sanctuary” program which is a low-barrier program that provides 28 beds for youth wrestling with significant substance use and mental health concerns. The Sanctuary program provides youth with shelter, services and supports, while engaging with the dedicated team at Covenant House.

Covenant House provides a variety of support opportunities for youth through Outreach programs, shelter, drop-in services such as meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, counselling and appointments with mental health clinicians and psychiatrists. On average, Covenant House Vancouver sees 162 youth per day and had 42,154 ‘bed nights’ in one year.
